What follows after the 6th World Choir Games 2010 in Shaoxing/China? The 7th World Choir Games 2012 in Cincinnati/USA, of course! To get an idea of this year’s event, a delegation of the 2012 hosts travelled to Shaoxing. Mark Mallory, Mayor of the city of Cincinnati, was present as well.

At a press conference in the “Yin Tai” hotel he presented his home city in a charming way and with heart. After the presentation in front of about 100 journalists from TV, radio and press, he was asked about the way of life, climate and touristic opportunities in the city at the Ohio River.

Among the audience was the Mayor of the city of Shaoxing, Xu Mingguang, who welcomed the US Delegation with Mayor Mallory, the Director of the 2012 World Choir Games, Dan Lincoln, and the President of the World Choir Games, Günter Titsch begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting, at the beginning of the press conference. The conference was moderated by Rainer Eichhorn, Representative of INTERKULTUR.

Mallory was proud to host the World Choir Games in Cincinnati, for the first time ever in an US city. He invited the media representatives and the Shaoxing citizens to visit the American Evening in the Shaoxing Exhibition Hall. Tomorrow evening, July 25, Cincinnati will present itself with a big musical show, a journey through American music history.
