There’s still a lot of snow coming down in Budapest. Yesterday’s open air concert in the afternoon was cancelled due to the snow storm, unfortunately. But everyone’s trying to make the best of it – the first snowmen have already been built.

As competitions are not taking place open air, everything is running smoothly here. Yesterday male, female and mixed choirs already competed and the first jury meeting was held. (The results will be announced only on Wednesday though, during the Awards Ceremony.)

Today it’s going on with competitions for children’s choirs and also two very popular categories are coming up: “Folklore” is currently running, in the evening “Pop, Jazz, Gospel” will follow. Good luck to all competitors!

We’re also expecting some Hungarian choirs to arrive today. Hope they will make it through the snow…
