First European Choir Champions announced!

Today at the European Choir Games started with the first Awards Ceremony of this competition. Choirs in the Stefaniensaal were in a great mood, cheering and waving their flags and banners when waiting for their results. Four brandnew European Choir Champions were announced today, and here they are:

Category 1 – Children’s Choirs
Lautitia Gyermekkar, Hungary
(conducted by József Nemes)

Category 2 – Youth Choirs of Equal Voices
Cantamus Girls’ Choir, England
(conducted by Ann Irons)

Category 3 – Mixed Youth Choirs
Lautitia Ifjúsági Vegyeskar, Hungary
(conducted by Jószef Nemes)

Category 9 – Male Choirs
The Orthodox Male Choir “Armonia”, Romania
(conduceted by Ion Iulian Dumitru)
