Prof. Dr. Eisenbeiß welcomes the Jury Secretaries

The Games are going to start soon and you can already feel it. Due to the arrival of more team members from Philippines, Albania, Germany, etc… the first information meetings started this morning.

First of all the Jury Secretaries: Prof. Dr. Ralf Eisenbeiß of the Artistic Committee and the Project Director Jelena Dannhauer welcomed this year’s secretaries and gave them a clue of what will await them during the World Choir Games. With witty anecdotes of what should definitely NOT happen Prof. Dr. Eisenbeiß broke the spell and prepared the mostly new secretaries for their jobs.

The job of the Jury Secretaries are tightly organized: checking scores, taking care of and briefing the jury members, check every information twice, communicate all changes, be in charge of the preliminary results and send them to the right place and so on. But the most important, so Prof. Dr. Eisenbeiß, is: to have fun and an unforgettable time in Riga!

Afterwards Prof. Dr. Eisenbeiß and Dannhauer informed the Stage Managers. They will be in charge of the venues, organize the rehearsals and send the choirs to the stage for their competitions.

It cannot be denied: the World Choir Games 2014 are about to begin in four days!
