The project choir of the Sängerkranz Watzenborn-Steinberg had their first performance at the World Choir Games in Riga. At the big stage in the park “Esplanade” the singers led by Peter Schmitt presented their program at a friendship concert. They received a lot applause in bright sunshine and summer temperatures, particularly for the young soloist Erik Burger, who intoned the solo part at Jonathan Quicks “Loch Lomond. Also the other titles went down well with the Latvian and international audiences and can be heard once more on Saturday night at their competition performance. The central Hessian singers are in a great mood and looking forward to Saturday!
